Amidst the lush coniferous green forests and different wild animals like musk deer, Himalayan black bear, leopard, Red Panda etc, lies a very beautiful and largest lake of Nepal, Rara Lake in an altitude of 3010 m. It lies within the Rara National Park which itself holds the place for one of the finest parks in the world with its untainted natural beauty and being home to 500 different kinds of flowers and herbs including Rhododendron, Black Juniper, Oak, West Himalayan Spruce, 20 different species of mammals and 214 species of birds. The trek to the Rara is mostly preferred by the people who wants to observe the beauty of nature at its best.
People will be passing through off beaten trail and solitary path through the jungles due to the remoteness of the destination but the view of the big lake in its full glory reflecting the mighty and majestic Himalayas makes us forget everything. On your journey you will not only be in the presence of snowcapped mountains, forests and enchanting lakes but will also get to witness the rustic life of the very friendly locals who call this remote land their home.

We take an hour long flight from the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu to one of the biggest cities Nepalganj. It lies in the border of India and harbors a semi tropical climate. On reaching here you will be taken to the Hotel to freshen up. In your leisure, you can stroll the streets of the city and see about its local market, a mini zoo and nearby villages. Overnight in the city.
After the early breakfast in Nepalganj we fly towards Jumla district, which is one of the remote area in Nepal but equally rich in beauty. The trekkers who want to trek towards the rural region of Karnali region pass through the Jumla district making it like a gateway. We overstay in Jumla for the day enjoying the stunning view of the Sisne Himalaya.
We start our trek from today through a trail that passes along the Jugad river. Throughout the trek we will awarded with the amazing views of the green forests, beautiful village and ancient monasteries. Overnight stay in Chere Chaur.
Today’s trek is an downhill climb to Sinja valley through several villages, dense pine forest terraced farm fields and walk along the Jaljala river. The trail twists and turns along the stream but it is a pleasant trail admist forest wilderness. Sinja is an ancient capital city of Khasa kingdom which ruled this area from the 12th to 14th century. Overnight in Sinja Valley.
Our trek starts by following a small stream of Ghatte Khola towards an uphill trek and steep trail until we reach Laha village. While enjoying the views en route we reach our overnight camp on the border rim of Rara National Park at a small village of Ghorasain.
Today’s hike starts by following a uphill climbing trail until we reach Chuchemara Danda where you can see the stunning view of the glorious mountains and beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding landscapes. After enjoying the mesmerizing views, we take a downhill trail which passes through forest of bamboo and Birch trees until we reach the beautiful Rara Lake. Overnight stay at Rara lake shore.
Today is the day of relaxation after the week long trek. Our day will be filled with light strolling around the lake area exploring its beauty. While boating we get to admire the picturesque setting of the lake and discover quite a few varieties of fishes. Overnight stay at Rara Lake.
Today’s hike starts by descending a straight trail until Gangadhi which is the headquarter of Mugu district of Nepal. From Gmgadhi, it is a steep descend until we reach Pin where we stay for the night.
Today’s trek starts with descend hike by crossing Ghurchi Lagna pass (3485m.) with beautiful mountain views and villages to get Bumra, a small beautiful village. Overnight in Bumra.
Today our hike will pass through 2 suspension bridges and a hot spring where we can relax and soak up the heat of the water. Then after we continue our hike by crossing Danphe Lagna pass and reaching Jumla. Stay overnight in Jumla.
