Jungle safari in Chitwan is the most accessible for all the travelers as it is located in the southern middle part of Nepal and as Chitwan is linked by the air transport and road transport as well. There is regular flight from Kathmandu and regular tourist bus service form Kathmandu and Pokhara and we can drive by private vehicle any time and from any part on Nepal. Chitwan national park, a wilderness of rich ecosystem that includes mammals, birds, reptiles and water animals of numerous kinds. The highlights of this park are the 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros (One-Horned Rhino) and some hundred nocturnal Royal Bengal Tigers that live in the dense forests of the park. You will discover a lost world of towering trees and twisting vines, of pre-historic rhino and lumbering elephants, crocodiles, pythons and deer; brilliantly colored birds and if you are fortunate – the superb Royal Bengal Tiger. Sharing home with these are other animals like rhesus monkey, grey langur, and leopards. Chitwan National Park is one of the best Parks in Nepal, established in 1973 AD, where we can have a look of various species of birds, plants and animals including wildlife, floras and faunas, Nepal is best known with the beautiful mountains, but there are the Genetic flat lands of Terai that is stretched throughout the southern part of Nepal, which provide an entirely different experience. A visit to Nepal is incomplete without seeing the beauty of this Terai belt and no doubt Chitwan is the best place to do so. Elephant Back Safari is to encounter one-horned rhino and other wildlife. Canoe ride in the Rapti River is for watching of crocodiles and birds. Visit of Elephant Breeding Centre is to see baby elephants. Likewise, the other activities are jungle walk, bird watching, bathing and swimming with Elephants in the Rapti River, village tour and to participate in a cultural program of Tharus, the indigenous group is living nearby National park.
Itinerary

Morning drive to Chitwan National Park (186 km / 5.5 Hours) from Kathmandu. Transfer to Jungle Lodge. Welcome drinks and briefing about your all jungle activities by National Park guide. Then Lunch at the lodge. Afterward, National Park guide will take you for Jungle Walk (1 hour). In the evening participate in Cultural Show by Tharus, the local indigenous group. Then have a dinner and rest at Jungle lodge. Overnight at Jungle Lodge.
Wake up call in the morning. Have a breakfast. After that, you will be taken for Elephant Back Safari. This activity an excellent opportunity to encounter rhinoceros, deer, rhesus monkey, wild boar, wild cats, leopards, even royal Bengal tiger if you are lucky and other mammals. Subsequently, you will go for Canoe ride along the Rapti River. While canoeing you can view various species of birds on the bank of river and crocodiles. In the afternoon you can also enjoy the elephant bathing. Then lunch at the lodge. Next, you will move for village tour of Tharus, the indigenous group living nearby National park. Overnight at Jungle Lodge.
Breakfast in Jungle lodge. Then drive back to Kathmandu.
