Annapurna Base Camp trek is the most popular trekking destination of Nepal after Everest Base Camp. Each year the Annapurna Region receives a huge flow of tourist only for ABC Trek.The ABC route goes passing through spectacular and tranquil landscapes, charming Gurung and Magar villages, lush green Rhododendron, bamboo and alpine forests to the trip’s last and final destination, Annapurna Base Camp at the height of 4130m (13546ft.). This trek offers opportunity to witness the staggeringly beautiful peaks of all the Annapurna giants that encircle the basin: Annapurna 1 (8091m), Annapurna South (7273m), the Glacier Dome, Gangapurna (7454m), the unclimbed Fang (7647m), and the fishtail peak of Machhapuchhare (6997m). The fabulous mountain scenery & the rich cultural diversity traverses across a wide spectrum of lush rural farmlands and pretty villages where we see the local women folk humming romantic tunes while on their daily chores. Here, the air is pure and a trekker thrives in front of this awe-inspiring mountain ranges.
ABC Trek is known as Annapurna Sanctuary Trek normally trekking towards the 3 different options to start to complete this Trekking route either Nayapul, Dhampus Phedi or via Poon-hill (Panoramic Trail) to continue Trek to join main gateway of Sanctuary that heading towards to follows along the way from Syulibazar all those trails will join Chhomorong to begins Annapurna Sanctuary to reach main destination of Annapurna Base camp The trail passes through interesting villages and terraced farmland, giving an insight into how the locals of this area live. It also winds through rhododendron forests, passes and over glacier rivers and waterfalls, and allows spectacular views of sheer cliffs with rivers running below. This wonderful trek explores diverse ethnic groups and their interesting cultures, the local communities found here are Gurung, Magar, Thakali and we are warmly welcomed by these local tribes; blended with this is a glimpse of beautiful flora and fauna found in this area.
Itinerary

Upon your arrival in the capital city of Nepal, you will be taken to the hotel for freshening up and relaxation. Feel free to stroll through the city at your leisure.
Today we will have a scenic drive from Kathmandu to reach the beautiful ‘City of Lakes’, Pokhara. Pokhara is a beautiful valley, with panoramic views of Annapurna, Machapuchare (shape of fish tail) in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east. The town of Pokhara is set on the banks of the Phewa Lake. In the evening, you shall be able to enjoy the respite of a beautiful boat-ride at Fewa Lake Overnight stay in Pokhara.
We will have an hour drive to reach Nayabazar from where our trekking starts. The drive offers sights of the terrain that is beautiful and is brimming with terraced farmlands and a lush growth of alpine vegetations. From Nayabazar its an easy hike to reach the village of Ghandruk. The village is a major recruitment centre for the famous Gurkha soldiers and is the hub of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project, which promotes many varied ecological projects. Overnight stay in Ghandruk.
We will pass through very almighty rhododendron forests and fine terraces through our trail to the Chhomrong village. The trail from Ghandruk to Komrong Danda is slowly up. From Komrong Danda, you will trek down to Komrong Khola then climb up to reach Chhomrong, Chomrong is a gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary trek and inhabited by the Gurung ethnic tribe who inhabit this area the most. Overnight stay in Chomrong.
We will descend via 2500 stone steps and cross the bridge above Chhomrong Khola Next, we pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo. From there we will descend a long, steep, slippery stone staircase into a deep bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Dovan where we will stay for the night.
You will head towards Macchapuchre Base Camp today. The trek begins with a descend to river bed of Modi Khola by crossing a beautiful stream and then start to climb gradually until we reach Machhapuchre Base Camp. There’s technically no such thing as ‘Machhapuchhare Base Camp’, since ascents of the mountains are prohibited. From here you will have the view of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Gandharva Chuli, Glacier Dom, Annapurna III, Gangapurna etc. Overnight stay in Machhapuchre Base Camp.
Today, we walk all the way uphill to reach the Annapurna base camp. From the base camp we get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South , Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks. Located at an altitude of 4131m above sea level, the base camp is the starting point for those out there to conquer the tenth highest mountain in the world that is also among the most dangerous. Tremendous Annapurna Range will stop your heart beat for a while; whole day without rest chill out around to explore ABC. Overnight stay in Annapurna Base Camp.
Early in the morning we can see mesmerizing sunrise views from the base camp. After breakfast we will revert back to Bamboo from Annapurna Base Camp. Today’s trek is downhill, so it shouldn’t be very difficult. Overnight in Bamboo.
After the breakfast as usual time, we will trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda via Sinuwa and Chhomrong Village. Today we can enjoy the natural hot spring small polls near Modi Khola which is just 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda. Overnight in Jhinu Danda.
This is the last day of trekking where you will walk to Nayapul. From there, you will then have a drive back to Pokhara. We can explore the city of Pokhara in the evening. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
We will catch the early morning flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu
