Annapurna Circuit & Thorang la Pass trekking is an adventurous trek offers a life time experience, a complete scenic journey beneath the world’s 7th and 10th highest mountains Annapurna 8,091 and Dhaulagiri at 8,167 meters, which plunges below Kali Gandaki River, forming world’s deepest gorge as the walk leads on the both side of massif Annapurna mountain range, walking towards North and ending on the southern area on this amazing trekking. Starting from less than 1,000 meters, it gives us a chance to explore the Himalayas from bottom to top and from many different angles and perspectives. This three week trek starts right from Syange which goes along the Marshyangdi River, with great views of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east. Moreover, we will get to see fantastic views of Annapurna II and III before reaching Manang village. We will then experience one of the fascinating part of the trek as we walk side to side with a shaky incline and then walk down to Thorung La Pass lying at the height of 5416m. Besides, we will also visit Muktinath meaning God of Salvation which is holy place for Buddhists as well as Hindus. Annapurna region is the jewel of Nepal which centers hundreds of natural, artistic and cultural attractions; and so do Annapurna Circuit Trekking and its associated route. Trekkers will be gifted with the naturally mesmerizing vista of high mountains and peaks including Mount Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), natural hot springs and cascades, cultural villages, sunrise and sunset, rhododendron and orchid forest and planting, Apple farming areas, rare and unique wilderness and hundreds of others.

After you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, Enlighten Trip’s representative will wait for you with a play card to help you to transfer to hotel. At hotel, you can just lighten up. Overnight at Kathmandu.
The day begins with drive to Besisahar - Bhulbhule about 5-6 hrs from Kathmandu along to the Prithwi highway. We divert off the highway at the bustling town of Dumre and continue for a further one and half hours to Besisahar. After lunch we complete the short drive to the road head at Bhulbhule (846 meters) in the Marysandi Valley, overnight at lodge/teahouse with dinner.
Commence trek to Shange begins after having breakfast and the walk about 5-6 hrs as an easy start and then a taste of things to come - the climb up to Bahun Danda, a picturesque village at the top of this formidable ridge. Then it's down, across terraces and over small streams, before rejoining the Marsyangdi and following it upstream for several km to our overnight camp with teahouse/lodge in full board near the village of Shange.
A wonderful walk with such changes in scenery and a range of gradients is begins today. From Tal we head across the river and ascend steeply to finally reach the ridge top high above. We cross another suspension bridge before a continued ascent up a narrow and beautiful valley where, after rain, many spectacular waterfalls will flow. Just before camp at Tal the first village in Manang, we come over a small rise and enter a wide, flat valley with a long, silvery waterfall to the right.
We make a trail verse crossing a wide, flat valley. The trail then climbs a stone stairway to 1860m till another stairway. The journey continues making up and down to Dharapani at 1890m. There we find a stone entrance Chorten typical of the Tibetan influenced villages from here northwards. We then visit the Bagarchhap at 2160m that offers the typical flat roofed stone houses of local Tibetans design although the village which is still in the transition zone before the dry highlands.
With often rough and rocky, the trail climbs to Tyanja at 2360m, and then continues through forest, but near the river, to Kopar at 2590m. As we reach the Chame, the headquarters of the Manang district, we are rewarded by the fine views of Annapurna II as you approach Chame and two small hot springs by the town.
The next day, you will have a total walk of about six hours. This is an amazing part of your 18 days Annapurna Circuit Trek. You will have amazing views of Lamjung Himal, Ngadi Chuli, and other small peaks. As you start your journey from Chame, you will witness an amazing view of Lamjung Himal from the suspension bridge. You pass through beautiful chorten and mani walls and walk towards west.After about half an hour, the amazing Lamjung ridge appears right above the forest. To the east, you see a part of Ngadi Chuli. As you cross the village of Bhratang, you walk through a path made on the walls of a steep canyon. You then walk through the base of Pangri Dada. You then cross a bridge to the forested side of Marshyangdi. Along the way, you see the icy Lamjung ridge. The beautiful journey finally opens to the Valley of Pisang. You see Upper Pisang and Chulu peak in the distance.You then finally walk through a ridge to Pisang – the stop of your seventh day of the trek. Pisang has two parts: Upper and Lower Pisang. The Lower Pisang has many lodges. As you walk to Upper Pisang, the view of Lower Pisang starts getting better. You can visit a Gompa in Upper Pisang.
The next day, you start ascending to Ghyaru village. This takes about 2 hours. Throughout the trail, you see the amazing views of Annapurna II and some other peaks. You see the glacial wall of Annapurna IV from Ghyaru. After the lunch in Ghyaru, you walk for about 2 hours to reach to Ngawal. You will see the breathtaking views of Pisang Peak and Annapurna peaks during the trek. Once you reach to a mani wall with so many prayer wheels, you enter into Ngawal village. Below Ngawal lies Humde Village. Manang Airport lies in Humde. You then descend down to Bhakra which is in the vicinity of Humde. Then, you walk further west through Braga to reach Manang. Some people prefer to stay in Braga than Manang. These two villages lie at 20 minutes of walking distance from each other.
Manang is a popular stop in Annapurna Circuit Trek. It has many lodges and bakeries. You spend the ninth day of your 18 days Annapurna Circuit Trek in acclimatization. You can explore around Khangsar, Tsamkhang or Gangapurna Lake. The town looks so lively during the peak season as many trekkers spend their time here.
On this day, we will walk for around 4 hours to reach Ledar located at the altitude 4200m. While trekking, the breathtaking views of Annapurna will move along with you. Furthermore, we can observe Himchuli, Peak 29 at our back. We will then climb passing by Gunsang settlement where we will cross Gundon River via a bridge made of wood to reach Ledar. Overnight at tea house.
Today we will make way up steadily to an edge and then move down to the Marsyangdi River. After that, we will traverse through a wooden bridge. In addition, we have slender track that move transversely to an uneven hill and after that ascend to Thorung La Phedi taking approximately 3 hours. Overnight at tea house.
We will walk downward to the Marsyangdi River and pass through the river via a wooden bridge. Also, we will walk on the right coast of the river. After that, we will have a track that turns slender and moves crossways from side to side with a shaky incline and after that walk down to Thorung La Pass lying at 5416m. Also, we will shift down to Muktinath meaning God of Salvation taking roughly 5 hours. Muktinath is regarded as a holy place for Buddhists as well as Hindus. Here you will observe water flowing from 108 fixed stone taps and a temple devoted to Lord Vishnu. Overnight at tea house
We will move from Muktinath to the arresting Kali Gandaki valley, at first through withered area. We will also pass by settlements like Khingar as well as Jharkot filled with typical Tibetan architecture, we will be pleased with magnificent views of Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri en-route. Likewise, we will carry on walking through apple orchards before reaching Marpha. Then as a final point, we will walk to Jomsom, a big set expanded next to both shores of the Kali Gandaki River. Overnight at tea house.
This day, you can come to Pokhara by local bus from Tatopani and Beni. It will take 5 to 6 hours. You will be in Pokhara, 3 to 4 PM. You will travel this whole day through bus in off road. Overnight in a hotel. Overnight in Pokhara.
After spending memorable time in Pokhara, we will drive to Kathmandu which takes approximately 6 hours by a tourist bus. Today you can just relax in the hotel or go for shopping. Overnight in Kathmandu.
We will drive you to the airport. If your flight is in the evening time, you can spend your time shopping or exploring Kathmandu. We wish you all the best and welcome you to visit Nepal again.
